Between the gorgeous furniture and delicious meatballs, you can never beat a trip to IKEA. We basically take a full day off to venture around the store, and even then, we feel like it's not enough. Well, IKEA's new app will change all of that and will turn you into the ultimate interior designer. The app, called IKEA place, will allow you to see what one of its items will look like in your home. The feature is perfect if you don't have exact measurements or if you want to see what a piece of furniture will look like in your room before you purchase it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDWRl9A1p6s It's pretty simple to use too. All you have to do is open the app and pick a piece of furniture, for example an armchair. Then, point your camera to the space you'd like to fit the armchair in to and it will give you an accurate representation of what your home will look like with it there - fit to scale. So basically, you can re-design your own living room while sitting on the couch with a glass of prosecco. It doesn't get much better than that, does it? The app will be available on iOS from the beginning of October.
