There are many ways to pop the question from the grandly elaborate to the beautifully simple but we think this is one of the best we’ve seen so far.
When Paudie Kelleher from Kerry decided that he wanted to marry girlfriend Lisa Keogh from Wicklow, he chose not to do it at the top of the Eiffel Tower or at the site of the first date but instead, on the most important day of their lives.
So, when Lisa gave birth to the couple’s son Conan in the couple’s adopted home of Australia, there was an extra surprise in store for the new mum!
And we’re glad to report that she said ‘yes!’, saying it was the “happiest day of my life”.
