Man installs ‘chocolate safe’ in fridge to stop his girlfriend from eating all his snacks

This might interest you and your partner…

While we’re sure it’s domestic bliss most of the time for most of you living with a significant other, there will always be one or two little bumps in the road when you share a living space for long enough.

While household chores and the constant battle to control the remote are usually the contentious issues, there’s one area that always has the potential to cause World War 3.

Hell, you don’t even have to be dating someone to cause a riot over the blatant disrespect and horror of eating another person’s snacks.

Joey doesn’t share food, and all that jazz.

Well, a woman named Stacey Lowe has given a unique insight into the living arrangement that she has with her fiancé. It turns out that Stacey’s partner can no longer tolerate the heartbreak and pain of going to grab a snack, only to be crestfallen by the knowledge that she already ate them.

Rather than terminate their relationship – a move some might say is entirely justified, chocolate is life after all – he decided to purchase a Lockabox safe that he keeps in the fridge to protect all his sweets.

In a post on Facebook, Stacey took the whole thing in good jest by saying: “So this is what it has come too (sic)! You buy a house together, have a child together, get engaged, are planning a wedding and doing your house up and this happens! Dave goes and buys a fuckin’ fridge safe because he’s an arsehole and doesn’t want to share his chocolate with me anymore! Anyone want him? Surely this is breakup material right?! Prick!”

To be honest, we can see both sides to this.

Chocolate is important. A healthy relationship is too.

Think a fridge safe is something that could benefit the relationship you have with your partner?

Mmm, we’ll let you decide the outcome of this one because these two have definitely got their Snickers in a twist.
