Her father, the Duke of York, announced her engagement earlier today.
It was revealed this morning that Princess Eugenie and longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank are now engaged.
Yes, the pair who met back in 2010 are now set to wed in a lavish ceremony in St George’s Chapel later this year. The messages of congratulations have been flooding in for the newly-engaged couple all day, however, we’ve been distracted by pictures of Eugenie’s ring that have been shared online.
Since the announcement, photos of Eugenie’s engagement ring have been shared in the couple’s official engagement pictures.
The couple looks delighted in the newly released images, however, we couldn’t help but notice a striking resemblance between Eugenie’s rock and another famous royal ring.

The stunning peach-coloured padparadscha sapphire ring was shown off on Twitter today and drew instant comparisons to the ring famously worn by Princess Diana and now, Kate Middleton.
Yes, probably the most famous engagement ring of all time was given to Kate when Prince William proposed in 2010 and has been compared to the oval-cut ring just recently given to Princess Eugenie.
However, on closer inspection, Eugenie’s ring bears a stronger resemblance to the one her mother, Sarah Ferguson, wore when she became engaged to Prince Andrew.
As for the cost of the royal ring? Well, experts are pricing the piece at around £7,000 (€7,977). Relatively cheap when you compare it to the £25,000 (€28,489) Prince Andrew forked out for her mum’s ring back in 1986.
As @MajestyMagazine just pointed out to me there is a striking similarity between Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring and her mother @SarahTheDuchess‘s engagement ring. How lovely pic.twitter.com/BW8hGb2Xs3

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank became engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month and are due to marry in the autumn.
