Gillette has recently released a new advert featuring a dad teaching his son how to shave. What makes this advert different, however, is that the son is a young transgender man. Samson Brown can be seen in the ad being lovingly shown how to shave by his proud father. Brown said that he was so happy to share this special moment with his dad. "I’m at the point in my manhood where I’m actually happy," he said. "It’s not just myself transitioning, it’s everybody around me transitioning." This ad is just one of the many ways that Gillette hope to fight toxic masculinity. The new advert launched May 23 and has since received a lot of praise online.
