What a gentleman.
The Rugby World Cup came to a pretty brilliant conclusion this afternoon and while New Zealand will remember it as the day they made history by retaining the Web Ellis trophy, one young fan will remember it as one of the best days of his life.
The young fan ran out to the pitch in the midst of all the excitement, but was stopped pretty sharpish by security.

The child was spotted by Sonny Bill Williams, who headed over to rescue him… and present him with his World Cup winner’s medal.
Seriously.
“Hopefully [the medal] made it a night to remember for him,” Williams told the NZ Herald.
Wow.
