Newlywed blogger Amanda Lauren married her husband a few weeks ago. Amanda, who is based in Los Angeles, penned a piece for Your Tango this week entitled "Staying Hot For My Husband Is ESSENTIAL to a Successful Marriage". At the beginning of the piece, Amanda says that when her other half gets home from work each day, she makes him his favourite cocktail even if it is "kind of Mad Men". Amanda continues: "I see the look on my husband's face when I come out of the bathroom, ready for a night out, or the way he checks out my butt on the way to Pilates class. Having an attractive wife makes him happy. They say, 'Happy wife, happy life,' but I'm happiest when my husband is happy". Since the piece went online, Amada has received some criticism for her way of thinking but she has insisted that attitude towards her marriage makes her happy too. After her piece was published on Your Tango, where you can read it in full, Amanda has added an author's note. It includes the lines: "Whether or not you agree with me, my essay was my opinion and my thoughts. "Everyone is entitled to their feelings whether or not they are right, wrong, politically correct, politically incorrect, the result of patriarchal society or not.".
