Barack and Michelle Obama lovely response to fan’s wedding invite

A pair of legends.

Darragh Berry

They’re going on our wedding list.

From 2008 to 2016, we enjoyed being in the company, albeit at a distance, of the coolest President ever of the United States of America.

Although he has a lot more free time now since he handed over the old Presidential gig to Donald Trump, it was always very unlikely that the Obamas were going to attend this wedding.

One Twitter user’s parents sent the Obamas a wedding invitation as a joke and didn’t expect a reply back at all.

Maybe anyone else wouldn’t have replied, but Obama isn’t just anyone…

Brooke with a Twitter handle of @96_brooke posted this tweet on her account with the caption: “My mom deadass sent the Obamas a wedding invitation back in March and just received this in the mail. I’m hollering.”

The reply arrived in a fancy envelope which was stamped “The Office of Barack and Michelle Obama”.

The reply reads:

“Congratulations on your wedding. We hope that your marriage is blessed with love, laughter and happiness and that your bond grows stronger with each passing year.

“This occasion marks the beginning of a lifelong partnership, and as you embark on this journey, know you have our very best for the many joys and adventures that lie ahead.

Barack Obama Michelle Obama.”

Cue a sh*tload of wedding invitations heading to the Obama household from 2017 onwards.
