One Irish dad is about to appear on billboards across Ireland this Father’s Day

As part of its biggest Father’s Day campaign in Ireland to date, Moonpig, known for helping people celebrate life’s biggest moments through personalised cards and thoughtful gifts, is inviting people across the country to nominate their dad, stepdad, grandad or father figure who has made a lasting impact on their lives.

The winning nominee will become the official face of Father’s Day in Ireland, appearing in a major Moonpig campaign running from 15^th-18^th June across digital billboards around Ireland.

One deserving dad will even feature on a special edition Moonpig No.1 Dad card, turning an everyday Irish father into a nationwide Father’s Day star.

As well as earning the bragging rights of being crowned Ireland’s No.1 Dad and becoming the face of Moonpig’s digital billboards across the country, the winner will receive the Ultimate Dad Hamper from Moonpig. Moonpig will also bring the campaign to life at Taste of Dublin from 11^th–14^th June, where festival-goers can visit the Moonpig Hangout, take part in Father’s Day-themed activities and competitions, and submit nominations for Ireland’s No.1 Dad.

The winner will be revealed on Monday, 15^th June, ahead of Father’s Day celebrations, before taking centre stage in Moonpig Ireland’s nationwide campaign.

How to Nominate Ireland’s No.1 Dad:

Members of the public can nominate their dad, stepdad, grandad or father figure by sharing their story here. 

Entrants will be asked to submit:

• Their name
• Their nominee's name
• A photograph
• A short explanation of why they deserve the title of Ireland’s No.1 Dad

Entries will be judged on the impact, character and contribution of the nominee.
