We bet they can’t wait for this!

One pub in Canada is doing something extremely sound for Irish fans ahead of today’s Rugby World Cup showdown between Ireland and Canada.

Johnnie Fox’s bar in Vancouver is one of three Irish bars in the city that are opening at 6am local time in order for the Irish living there to catch the big game.

Not only that though, but Co. Clare woman and Her.ie reader Maeve Nestor revealed they also have a very special offer on.

“The bar is offering a breakfast roll to order while watching the game in the morning,” she explained to Her.ie.

“It’s not just any breakfast roll though, it’s a breakfast roll with black and white pudding!”

While that mind sound normal to all of us folk here back in the Emerald Isle, Maeve added that this was particularly special for them.

There’s a special treat for the Irish.

“Bear in mind a breakfast roll in Vancouver is practically unheard of unless spoken (with fondness) amongst fellow Irishmen and women, let alone a breakfast roll with pudding in it!

“Black and white pudding here is a rare commodity and we’ve no doubt the rolls are sure to draw a crowd for the big game tomorrow to the pub.

“Don’t get me wrong, we love Canada, but we are look forward to watching them get beaten in tomorrow’s game – breakfast roll in hand!”

Hat tip to Maeve for sending this our way.
