Someone said the dog looked like ‘the chicken from Moana’
A dog owner was left fuming with a dog groomer’s efforts after turning the pooch into ‘Sid from Ice Age.’
The man went to pick up his gran’s dog from PetSmart, a pet store chain in America, but was stunned with the canine’s appearance.
Sharing a before and after comparison of the dog, he took to Twitter to warn the groomer to “count your f***ing days.”

As you can see below, it’s quite the transformation the dog has gone through, being left with a look that we’ll describe only as ‘bold.’
The tweet went viral, racking up more than 517,000 likes, and leaving many in stitches.
One person asked: “That’s your dog man lmao??” to which he replied: “My grandma’s dog,” along with a set of laughing emojis.

Some noticed that the pooch looked similar to some animated characters, with one person commenting: “Imagine dropping off your furbaby for a groom only to later pick up Sid from Ice Age!
“Lord, forgive me for laughing so hard I started wheezing.”
Someone else said the dog’s look was more similar to the chicken from Moana, another very good shout.

Another joked: “Me going out friday night vs me waking up saturday morning.”
A third said: “I think about deleting Twitter all the time and these are the reasons I don’t.”
A fourth admitted: “I kept sliding back and forth on these pictures and laughed every time.”
Some users did leap to the defence of the groomer though.
One woman replied: “The only reason why a groomer would shave them that short would be because you didn’t brush them.”
“Customers like you are why a lot of private shops are just straight up not accepting doodles anymore,” another replied. “People don’t take care of them properly and then plaster pictures like this on the internet blaming the groomer.”
