PICS – Dublin Zoo Welcomes Adorable New Arrivals

We can't handle this cuteness.

Ellen Tannam

There’s nothing we love more than celebrating the beginning of new life, and it’s even better when the new life comes in the form of some seriously adorable baby monkeys.

Dublin Zoo has welcomed a white-crowned mangabey and a Sulawesi crested macaque just in time for Christmas.

The mangabey was born at the end of November, and its’ gender is unknown due to the mother keeping the baby very close to her at all times.

The baby mangabey chillin’ with the fam.

Team leader Helen Clarke-Bennett, at Dublin Zoo, said:

“We’re delighted with the baby mangabeys progress and how it has been bonding with its mother. The baby joins a troop of eight white-crowned mangabeys, three of which are under three years of age, so the new arrival will have plenty of playmates to grow and develop with.”

Macaque Island welcomed a Sulawesi crested macaque, joining 17 others on the 5th of December.
