For us girls, the hen can go from one preening and pampering extreme to an adrenaline-filled other, but the general point of the weekend is to make sure the lady at the centre of it all is truly feeling the love - even if she's forced to fulfil the odd dodgy dare.
At the risk of generalisation, that's not always the case on a stag weekend.
Journalist Katie Mythen (who works with our lovely sister HerFamily.ie) spotted this poor chap just "hanging out" in the capital this afternoon.
