We nearly feel like taking a road trip to go and see this.

Saturday, December 5th, may be a normal day for you and me – perhaps it’s just a chance to catch up on some of your Christmas shopping – but for two Gaelic football teams in Meath and Cork it’s a very special day indeed.

That Saturday is in fact the All-Ireland ladies junior club championship final, which will kick off at 1.30pm in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.

Bantry Blues of Cork will go head-to-head with Dunboyne of Meath, and one family in the Co. Meath village are making sure everyone knows they are 100 per cent behind their team, and their daughter Lauren (who plays on the team), with this fantastic tribute to them.

The brilliant bales are located on the main road into Dunboyne and it’s fair to say, no one will miss them!

Thanks to Ciara Quinn for sending this our way.
