SO much yes to this.
If you absolutely hate leaving your dog behind while heading away on holiday, then we feel you.
Sure, they bunk in with a trusted friend or family member… but they are part of the family, and you feel bad for leaving them out.
However, if you’re going to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in the near future, then you’re going to be in luck.
According to ABC News, four Disney theme park hotels in Florida are now allowing your dog to stay in the hotel with you, so they won’t be far away from when you come back from screaming your lungs out on all the rides.
The rule came into play on Sunday in the following resort hotels, and they will each allow a maximum of two dogs per room:
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort
- Disney’s Yacht Club
- Cabins at Disney’s Ft. Wilderness Resort
However, you will have to pay a cleaning fee of €40 – €65 per night if your dog is staying with you, which we guess is only fair because your pup will probably have the absolute time of their lives with you.
If you want to bring your pet away with you, you’ll have to make a reservation for rooms with dogs first.

When you arrive, the room will have access to outdoor doggy walkways. You’ll get a Pluto Welcome Kit when you check in too, with a mat, bowls, a pet ID tag, disposable waste bags, puppy pads, dog walking maps, and even a Pluto-themed ‘Do Not Disturb’ door hanger so hotel staff know if a dog is in the room.
We certainly know where we want to go on our next holiday…
