What’s your dream job?
Or what job takes your fancy more than the rest? A recent survey in the UK found what lines of employment people want most… and we’re a bit confused by it.
Usually in these types of lists are pilots and doctors, but this one is quite different, and we wonder if it’s the same over here in Ireland.
The survey was conducted by Adzuna, a careers website, and these are the job ten most viewed jobs on their site from June to December last year:
- Emergency Ambulance Driver
- Non-Executive Director
- Funeral Services Director
- Air Traffic Controller
- Fashion Model
- Rigger
- Mail Clerk
- Airport Baggage Handler
- Oil Rig Operative
- Librarian
“It shows that the UK is looking to give back to the community and be part of something much bigger rather than take home a bigger pay packet, revealing a culture of love over money,” the company’s co-founder said.
“The list offers a real breadth of experiences. That’s what’s really key here – us Brits are much more interested in the spice of life than salary.”
