Wow – that’s some way to show your support!
The countdown is officially on to today’s Rugby World Cup final between Australia and New Zealand, and while the party may be kicking off over at Twickenham, fans in Australia are showing their support in style as the iconic Sydney Opera House has been turned green and gold with a support message for the Wallabies.
Sydney Opera House is looking a bit different this weekend.
“Sydney is the home of rugby in Australia and what better way to show our support than lifting up our iconic Sydney Opera House,” said Minister for Sport Stuart Ayres at the unveiling of the fantastic display.
“Put out your best green and gold and cheer home our mighty Wallabies!”
In NSW, we don't muck about when we want to show our support for the @Wallabies!!

Meanwhile, there’s serious banter going on between airlines Qantas (Australia) and Air New Zealand, with the latter tweeting Qantas to change their colours after the game.
.@Qantas So we’ve been thinking about this wager. How about you paint your planes like this? #AirlineWager #NZLvAUS pic.twitter.com/46HhWkVyi7
