The #WomenNotObjects hashtag has opened up a conversation.
Click play on the below video and you’ll see the words “objectification of women” typed into Google.
It soon becomes apparent that when it comes to the world of advertising, women are often sexualised.
The video below features ads, some of which you may have noticed before, and gets women to say what they really think of them.
Sarcasm is obvious and some of the statements are thought-provoking – “I love sacrificing my dignity for a drink”.
The video has received a strong reaction and on watching it, you’ll understand exactly why.
