That’s going to be some celebration!
Three sisters from Co. Roscommon have made headlines across Ireland this week as they gave birth to their three babies on the same day at Mayo General Hospital.
The two little boys and one girl were born in Castlebar on Wednesday, with Mairead Fitzpatrick giving birth to Thomas Óg, Joeline Godfrey giving birth to Sorcha and Bernie Ward giving birth to Pheilm.
Their other sister Christina Murray is also expected to give birth later today so it’s certainly going to be a busy time for the family!
“We used to say to them there were four of us expecting, but we just never realised it would all happen on the one day!” Maired explained to RTÉ.
Those cousins are going to have great craic growing up together… Can you just imagine the birthday parties?!
