Two People Arrested After Child Dies in Freak Bouncy Castle Accident

A 7-year-old girl in Essex, England, has passed away following a freak accident involving a bouncy castle. The inflatable castle caught in a gust of wind and blew away.

According to The Times, two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson commented:

“Our thoughts are with the friends and family involved on this sad day.”

The Ambulance service were called to Harlow Town Park when reports claimed a girl had been injured after the bouncy castle blew “some distance” away.

The Daily Mail reports that the girl was taking part in Easter celebrations in Harlow Park. It is thought the bouncy castle came loose from its ‘mooring’ and was blow up to 150m.
