Vatican launches a €99 ‘click to pray’ wearable rosary

Alan Loughnane

The wearable is designed to teach young people about Catholicism.

The Vatican are making a play to woo the tech-obsessed youth with their latest ploy.

The ‘Click to Pray’ eRosary, a wearable device connected to a mobile app.

Once activated, the wearer can choose to pray the standard rosary, a contemplative rosary or a thematic rosary, which will be updated throughout the year.

Similar to the way your Fitbit, smartwatch or other wearable will track your runs or exercise, the ‘Click to Pray’ eRosary will track your progress of each prayer and keep a record of each rosary you complete.

It can be worn as a bracelet and is activated by making the sign of the cross.

It is synchronised with a free app of the same name, which allows access to an audio guide, exclusive images and personalised content about the praying of the Rosary.
