The Six-One is one of the most watched TV items in Ireland and inevitably, it’s the source of laughter from time to time.
Case in point is this video featuring viral sensation, RTÉ reporter Teresa Mannion and regular news broadcaster Aengus MacGrianna.
Now before you go any further, let us inform you of the back story behind this rather genius video.
The community of Naul, North County Dublin, put on a Strictly Come Dancing event on the 28th December, in support of local man Billy Reilly.
Billy was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, a progressive neurological condition that affects nerves in the brain and spinal chord.
Jennifer Whyte and her dance partner Stephen Daly were one of the couples to take part in the event and one requirement was to make a video which would be screened on the night.
Anna, Jennifer’s sister, tells us that the video, featuring two very familiar faces went down a storm and after watching it, we can see why.
She also tells us that her cousin Oonagh turned her hand to reporting for the video and it has to be said, she did a great job.
