In 2003, Nelson Mandela visited Galway, NUIG to be precise, to accept an honorary degree from the University. Today, in honour of his birthday, we thought this video of Nelson dancing like no one was watching might put a smile on your face and remind us how great this man actually was.
This footage of Mandela dancing to the Corrs in what we can presume is an after-ceremony is just absolutely amazing. The iconic leader really let go and genuinely looked like he was enjoying himself.
RIP Madiba. You are most certainly missed.
