The West’s awake.
A new video released by National Geographic showcases the rugged beauty and rich culture of everyday life along the Wild Atlantic Way.
The magazine was glowing in its review of the region:
“The Wild Atlantic Way, on the west coast of the Republic of Ireland, is like stepping into another world. Both rugged and bucolic, the Wild Atlantic Way boasts rocky coastlines, green hillsides, land and sea adventures, and enough local characters to make you want to return again and again.”
If you’re lucky enough to be from the wesht, and you’re living far from home, this will bring you right back to where you came from.

As the clip says, ‘one of the most sacred things about the Wild Atlantic Way is the people.’
