WATCH: Find Out What It’s Like To Be A Cyclist On The Busy Roads Of Dublin

Over a ten year period from 2004 to 2013, 2,738 people were killed on the roads.  Of these, 92 were cyclists and 531 were pedestrians.  A further 3,684 cyclists and 9,576 pedestrians were injured (both serious and minor injuries) in that time.

We’re getting behind the latest Road Safety Authority campaign, ‘Put Yourself In Their Shoes,’  designed to raise awareness about vulnerable road users, mainly cyclists and pedestrians.

To find out what’s like to be a cyclist in rush-hour Dublin traffic, our Cassie cycled to work instead of driving. Find out how she got on, and how she felt, in the video below.
