Christmas is a wonderful time of year for many, but there are some who really just don't like it. And you know what? That is absolutely fine, as long as you don't ruin the festive cheer for everyone else. However, one woman in England clearly didn't get the memo, and decided to mess with Christmas for one specific family. CCTV has captured an older woman sneaking into a family's front garden to cut down their Christmas lights. How annoyed would you be? The incident happened in Cottingham, East Yorkshire in the early hours of last Sunday morning. Dan Hubbert, who was the owner of the lovely lights, spoke to Hull Live about the incident, saying that the woman could have “electrocuted herself”. Fair point, but also she's rude. The father-of-two admitted that he would have called the police, but he feels a bit conflicted about the whole thing. "Everyone wants me to ring the police on her. She should pay for them," he said. “If it was youths, I would’ve been straight on the blower to the police but she’s old." "It could have caused an electrical fault or even electrocuted herself. You can’t start going across the road and chopping down lights." Agreed Dan. “I think I will call 101 and get them to go and have a word.” However, Dan also admitted that he's not "that bothered" by the whole thing, and is trying to see "the funny side" to it.
