If there’s anything better than a festival, it’s a festival filled with lights.
More specifically, lights that are also lanterns that are all let off at the same time creating a glorious sky full of lights and fire and other nice things.
Now, lucky for us, the world famous Lights Fest is making its way to Dublin which means that we’ll get to experience all that lantern-based fun for ourselves.
The Lights Fest is an event where friends, family, and everybody in between gather together and light up their lanterns at the same time.
The lanterns are then released into the sky to create what organisers call a “surreal ambience.”
Every person who attends the event will receive a little bag including a torch, a flashlight, and a marker. Tiki torches are generally dotted around the area too.
According to the Light Fest’s website, the incredible night of food, torches, and fun is coming to Dublin “soon.”
There’s no exact date yet but people can still save themselves a spot here.
Tickets start at €23. Children under three-years-old can attend the event for free.
