“YOU, Up To The Front Of The Class” – 19 Things Teachers Always Say

For some of us our school days are a very distant memory, for others it was only yesterday.

There are some things however, we all will just never forget… our teachers.

Here are 19 things we all heard from a teacher at some point throughout our School years. 

 

1. "YOU, up to the front of the class…"

Damn it!

 

2. "Care to share what's so funny with class."

What if we told you to mind your own business?"

3. "Do you think you're funny."

Hilarious, actually.

 

4. "You can go to the toilet, but may you."

Oh, we see what you did there…

 

5. "I need a volunteer…"

*Tumbleweed*

 

6. "And what time do you call this?!"

Early. Far too early.

7. "And how long does it take you walking from that classroom to this one?"

Those secret trips to the shops were not so secret.

 

8. "What do you think this is a holiday camp?"

If only.

 

9. "QUIET, this is the library."

Really? We wouldn't have guessed.

10. "There are no stupid questions."

What sort of question is that?

 

11. "Give me up that diary."

Ok. *Forges Mother's handwriting and signature*

 

12. "If your parents only knew the carry on in class."

Aw, please don't ring home.

13. "Oh excuse me, are we interrupting you?"

Eh, kind in the middle of something here, so actually, yes.

 

14. "You have so much more potential."

Aw, no not the disappointment lecture. 

 

15. "I didn't tell you to put your books away."

But it's 3 and a half minutes from the bell ringing, we've been counting down the seconds since the class began.

 

16. "You're only fooling yourself ."

Pfft, whatever.

 

17. "You may not want to learn, but the rest of the class does."

No, I'm pretty sure they're with me on this one… 

 

18. "You're just like your sister/brother/cousin/neighbour."

Ok, we see where you're going with this one...

 

19. "GET OUT OF MY CLASSROOM!"

Aw no, not again.
