We could not be more excited!

ABBA have been one of the biggest bands to grace the music world since the 1970s and they’re not quitting any time soon.

Probably best known in recent years dues to the popularity of the Mamma Mia movies the Swedish band have revealed that they are working on new music.

And even better, it looks like it could be dropping later on this year!

ABBA songwriter Bjorn Ulvaeus recently revealed in an interview that they had planned to have their new music out sooner, but that the tracks were unfortunately delayed due to the Covid pandemic.

Luckily, it seems like the ball is rolling once more and that we could all be Dancing Queens listening to ABBA’s new songs very soon.

“There will be new music this year, that is definite, it’s not a case anymore of it might happen, it will happen.

We’re really, really good friends. The four of us stand in the studio for the first time in 40 years and there’s just something in knowing what we’ve been through.

It’s hard to describe, but there are such strong, strong bonds between us.”

According to Ulvaeus, the four band members reunited recently to discuss ideas for new music, and according to the grapevine, the group have already recorded several news tracks together.

Two of the song titles were leaked earlier this year. The leaked track titles are I Still Have Faith in You and Don’t Shut Me Down.

Bring it on.
