She slayed once again.
The BET awards were shown last night, honouring the talented African-American stars that shape the world we live in today.
The awards show is already collecting serious hype due to the incredible speech actor Jesse Williams gave concerning the Black Lives Matter movement.
The actor received a standing ovation for his eloquent, emotive speech about the racism that is still occurring in America today, honouring the innocent victims who lost their lives to police brutality.
Before this however, the queen of the entire planet Beyoncé opened the show and if you’ve ever seen any of her performances you’ll know the dedication and skill she applies to every appearance and the BET Awards were no different.
In the clip, an army of dancers enter the Microsoft Theatre in LA to smoke and flashing red lights and the camera eventually settles on Queen Bey who is… standing in a POOL.
Who else could perform in a pool? The Sorry singer launches into a soulful rendition of Freedom as her dancers splash and groove in the container of water.
US rapper Kendrick Lamar suddenly makes an appearance and the pair finish the song together, dancing in the pool like there’s no tomorrow.
