Never thought we’d… See The Day, wha?

There are plenty of bad things that have become apparent amid the coronavirus pandemic – these things are well know, they are not worth mentioning.

Instead, we must focus on the good, the positives, the fact that Girls Aloud could be getting back together for a special 20th anniversary show.

And even Nadine Coyle seems to be on board.

The Northern Irish icon revealed over the weekend that the she, Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, and Sarah Harding could be getting back together for a nationwide tour in 2022 marking two decades since their careers began.

And although it’s still too early to set anything in stone, Nadine seems pretty adamant that something will be happening to mark the occasion.

She told The Sun: “There’s been loads of conversations and people now are getting in contact, like, ‘What do we do?’ It’s still early.”

Elsewhere, Nadine told HELLO! Magazine recently that although it would be “nice” to do something for the 20th anniversary, she acknowledges that getting the group back together would be like “moving a mountain.”

“So many people are involved, and it would take a lot of planning and organising,” she said.

“I’m not thinking about that at the moment, but I’m definitely very fond of everything we’ve done, and it’s always really nice to support each other. We worked together for so long.”

But despite being a mammoth task, if conversations are already happening, that can only be a good thing, right?

C’mon lads, give us something to look forward to in the future. Anything.
