Heading to Longitude? Here are the things you HAVE to see

Don't miss these.

Laura Holland

Longitude is one of the best festivals the country has to offer.

It’s so well organised and has some great stages and areas for festival goers to explore. Based in Dublin’s Marlay Park, it’s the perfect weekend for those who love music, food, drink and all round fun.

If you’ve been before, you’ll know that the area itself is really well laid out and everything is in walking distance of the Main Stage, which allows you to explore in between each act to sample all that the festival has to offer.

Main Stage

This is a music festival after all so your priority should be to catch as many acts on the main stage, with Stormzy headlining Friday, The Weeknd headlining Saturday and Mumford & Sons rounding off the weekend.

Luckily the stage times have already been broken down making it easier to plan the weekend.

In between your favourite acts on the main stage there are so many areas to visit and explore. Make sure you get to as many of these as possible.

Cadburys

For the first time, Cadburys will be at Longitude.

They will be bringing five of their best loved chocolate bars to life and allowing festival goers and chocolate fans alike the opportunity to experience their favourite chocolate bars like never before.

Step into the world of Wispa, Crunchie, Twirl, Boost and Double Decker by taking a run through the Cadbury Taste Sensation, and bringing the taste sensation of each bar to life.

A taste experience like never before – sure who wouldn’t be interested in that?

3Live

We’re delighted to see 3Live returning to Longitude. It’s the place to be at the festival. This year they’re returning with a disco themed area, with different DJs playing a selection of the best soul, funk and pop tunes.

Marcus O’Laoire, Toast DJs and some of the best up and coming home-grown talent will be on the decks at the 3Live dance floor.

If you’re looking to get the perfect festival look, then Jade Mullet is on hand to give you a signature disco makeover. They’ll also have phone banks available to keep your phone charged. Sure, how else will you share the envy-inducing pictures on social media?

Heineken

Heineken’s Live Your Music is a new concept that is built on the collective passion fans have for music experiences. Heineken will  hand over control to the crowd, empowering them to program the lighting, the visuals and the atmosphere… with a few surprises thrown in.

Live Your Music will have a fully responsive, custom-built space featuring DJs and collectives from the worlds of house, disco, hip-hop and R&B.

The Club gives festival-goers the chance to create their own bespoke nightclub experience, using a custom-built Heineken® control panel to choose the essentials of a great club experience – the music, strobes, smoke and visuals.

Casa Bacardi

Bacardi is back again for Longitude this year and with it comes the Casa Bacardi – an area with epic music and great drinks.

As it was last year, it’s bound to be the ultimate party spot throughout the weekend, offering festival goers the perfect location to soak up the atmosphere over some of Ireland’s favourite cocktails, Bacardi Mojito and Bacardi Cuba Libre, in between the acts on the main stage.
