WATCH: Irish female artists record powerful cover of The Cranberries' 'Dreams' for charity
Over 40 Irish female artists have recorded a powerful cover of The Cranberries' hit song 'Dreams' in aid of charity.
The song features the stunning vocals of artists including RuthAnne, Lisa Hannigan, Imelda May, and Wyvern Lingo to name but a few, all performing as part of the new collective, Irish Women in Harmony.
All proceeds raised from the track will go towards Safe Ireland, a domestic abuse charity providing support to women and children experiencing crises in the home.
Domestic abuse rates have risen considerably since the beginning of lockdown, with many charities reporting glaring increases in the number of calls made to helplines.

"All funds raised from this beautiful recording will go to the Safe Ireland Covid-19 Emergency Fund, which will be distributed through our 39 member services," says Safe.
"It will be used directly to meet the needs of women and children fleeing violence and abuse in their homes."
