WATCH: The Pussycat Dolls performed together for the first time in 10 years last night

Icons, the lot of them.

Except for Melody Thornton who isn’t taking part in the reunion, but listen, we’re sure she has her reasons.

Last night, The Pussycat Dolls performed together for the first time in over a decade, providing fans, friends, and foes alike with a much needed display of thigh-highs, latex, and Scherzinger stealing the show.

She’s the main one, guys. It simply has to be this way.

The five-some – consisting of Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta – took to the X Factor: Celebrity stage last night to perform a delightful medley of their hits.

In case you had for some reason forgotten them, they were ‘Don’t Cha,’ ‘When I Grow Up,’ and ‘Buttons.’ They also dropped a teaser of their new song ‘React,’ which sounds, unsurprisingly, like a banger.

The Dolls did what the Dolls do best – put on a show reminiscent of the mid to late 2000s chock full of harmonies, hair extensions, and the harrowing realisation that these women are the ideal, beyond our grasp.

Some folk said the performance was far too sexy for the X Factor.

These people would do well to remember that the Pussycat Dolls’ default setting is sexy. They cannot switch it off. They are simply too attractive.

Anyway, the performance went down a treat, brought all the nostalgia, and got us super hyped for the group’s upcoming Irish show.

They’ll be playing the 3Arena some time next year, bringing Doll Domination back to Dublin – as well as Cardiff, Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds and London.

The group have sold more than 54 million records worldwide and been streamed over 1 billion times. They are two time winners at the MTV VMAs and have achieved eight UK top 10 singles.

“I love all my girls so much and cannot wait to show you what we’ve got in store for you,” said Nicole ahead of the reunion.

“It’s been a long time coming but this feels like the perfect time to remind the world what it means to be a Pussycat Doll.”
