Raise your glasses for P!nk: the star sparkles at a sold-out RDS Arena
Hurts to be this good.
Pink arrived onto the RDS stage in all of her sparkling glory in a stunning black sequined number and, to the fans' delight, opened up with the banger that is 'Get the party started' setting the scene for the night ahead.
Vance Joy had warmed up the audience with some beautifully upbeat songs like ‘Riptide’ while the sun set over the stage. The Australian singer played two sold-out gigs in Olympia Theatre in November.
Fans stood in awe from the get-go of her stellar vocal range, the absolutely insane production and the Cirque-Du-Soleil feel to her spectacular show. Immersing herself in the crowd she outstretched her arms to spectators as she ran through hugging as many people as possible, taking the odd selfie or two.
Once the American singer had captivated the crowd she effortlessly transitioned from 100 percent rocking out to ‘Love a Try’ into the moving ‘Just gimme a reason’. The vibrant backdrop and perfectly placed choreography added to the pure entertainment value. No wonder this was a sell-out show.
The star hung from the ceiling performing eloquent, and elaborate dance moves while performing with unwavering vocals throughout the show. A performance that overshadows any show I’ve seen in recent years. The set-list brought fans through her greatest hits reliving all their teenage dreams all over again.
P!ink is known for her inclusivity also generously shares the platform she has built up over years of chart-hits. The star gave a thrilling rendition of Bishop Briggs song ‘River’. The singer has been a household name for over two decades and the live show is just a showcase of the level of respect and musical success the star has achieved.
P!nk undoubtedly has the best production her show goes unchallenged for the best live show in recent years between dancers, acrobatics and the colourful set. The somewhat theatrical production oozes energy and fun.
The show is over-the-top in the best way possible.
The lights, the stunning vocals, the energetic band and the great music. The sparkling spectacle was everything I expected, but so much more. It was an unforgettable show that will extremely difficult to top.
