Rihanna’s fourth music video from ANTI has materialised, for the song Needed Me.
She announced the video’s arrival in typical Rihanna fashion, by posting a still on Instagram saying the video would be out on Wednesday as a 4/20 gift to her fans.
Beautiful.
The violent, NSFW and frankly brilliant video was directed by Harmony Korine, the mind behind films like Kids and Spring Breakers.
Interestingly, beatmaker Cardo (who works with Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa among others), gave an interview to Complex magazine where he hinted that a new album from Riri could be on the cards sooner than we think.
“But there’s so many records we’ve been working on that’s about to come out. I can’t say anything beyond that, but we got a record with Rihanna. That’s all I can say. I can’t say anything more, but there’s a Rihanna and Cardo record.”
She’s really spoiling us these days.
