Anyone else feeling a little inadequate this morning?
This is Cian Smith. He’s ten years old, Irish and one of the most talented musicians we’ve seen in a long time.
Cian has only been playing the uilleann pipes for two years but if this clip is anything to go by he has a very bright future indeed.
The video, posted to Facebook by Cian’s teacher David Power on August 15th, has attracted nearly 13,000 shares and has been viewed almost half a million times.
Remember when you saw this young man first – he’s going to be big.
Cian Smith is ten, and he's been playing the pipes for only two years, he is incredibly talented and very hard working, with wonderfully dedicated parents. He just won the U12 uilleann pipes and tin whistle competitions today in Sligo and I'm very proud to be his teacher!
