Brendan Dassey, who featured in the Netflix documentary Making A Murderer, has been freed by a judge.
The judge has granted the release of Brendan while a decision is made on the appeal against his case. His murder conviction was overturned in August, however, prosecutors are appealing.
According to NBCLA, he is to be released but there are a number of conditions which Brendan must to adhere to. He can only travel in the court's Eastern District of Wisconsin, he cannot obtain a passport, he cannot possess a gun or any other weapons or possess any controlled substances.
He will also not be allowed to contact his uncle Steven.
Brendan was at the centre of the Netflix documentary which saw the trial of himself and his uncle Steven Avery over the murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005.
Brendan was just 16 at the time and after being coerced into making a confession he was sentenced to life in prison.
