Former glamour model and TV presenter Abi Titmuss has announced she is expecting her first child.
Titmuss revealed the baby will arrive in September, four months after she weds her American partner, the actor Ari Welkom.
Speaking to Hello magazine, the actress said: ‘I’m 15 weeks pregnant…I’m so excited about becoming a mum for the first time.
‘I’d been bursting to share the news sooner but we hadn’t had the all-clear from the doctor so I had to hold back.
‘I found out I was expecting in the second week of January and it has been very hard keeping it a secret until now.’
The former nurse (41) rose to fame in 2004 during a sex tape scandal involving her boyfriend at the time, Scottish This Morning presenter John Leslie.
She met her fiancée Welkom in LA after moving to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. He popped the question in May during a romantic escape to Hawaii.
