"If this was an Asian guy like myself going up to a couple in a car and acid attacking them, I know for a fact, and the whole country knows, that it would be classed as a terrorist attack."Tomlin was caught and charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The 21-year-old can be seen wearing traditional dress as she poses for one photo and takes a few selfies of herself in a mirror.
Immediately following the acid attack, Khan wrote on her blog that she was too scared to leave her home.
"Today I was too petrified to walk to my local shop. Too scared to face the world. Too scared of the looks I might get. Too scared to tackle the question 'how are you?'"
Khan has also taken to social media to set the record straight about the events of her 21st birthday.
In a thread, she wrote that people shouldn't pay attention to sources that are inaccurately reporting the events.
"I haven't done anything wrong. I won't be made to feel like I have. Simple," she said.

Khan's dad has also weighed in on her recovery pictures, saying that she should be a photographer because she is always "setting things and making them look nice."
