Angelina Jolie broke down while talking to rape victims of the Bosnian War while there on a visit Friday March 28th.
According to Reuters, Jolie was accompanied by British Foreign Secretary William Hague, with whom she will host a conference on preventing rape being used as a war tactic.
While the victims of a small town called Srebrenica spoke, Jolie cried. "There can be no peace while women in conflict or post-conflict zones are raped with impunity," the actress declared.
The conference was partially inspired by Jolie’s film, In the Land of Blood and Honey, which dealt with sexual violence during the Bosnian War.
The star also laid flowers at a cemetery for the Bosnian War victims.
