Ariana Grande is to be made an honorary citizen of Manchester by the city council.
The local authority will recognise the singer for organising the One Love Manchester benefit concert to raise funds for those affected by the recent terror attack in the city.
She’s the first to be recognised under the council’s proposed new honours scheme.
This follows the terrorist incident at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester Arena last month which saw 22 people, including a number if children, die.
The One Love Manchester concert featured a number of world-famous acts, including Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Oasis and raised £2.7 million in funds, according to the Manchester Evening News.
