Barclays to add over 100 jobs in Ireland

Great news.

Carl Kinsella

There is good news on the jobs front as Barclays looks set to add 100-150 employees to their Dublin headquarters.

Reports had suggested that the bank was deciding between Dublin and Frankfurt to replace London as its EU hub as the UK goes through the Brexit process over the next two years.

Yesterday, The Telegraph reported that Dublin had won out over the German city and that Barclays would be adding to its 120-strong workforce in the Irish capital.

The bank will relocate to bigger premises in Dublin and double its workforce in order to “ensure it can continue to service EU clients.”
