Yesterday, Ben Affleck took to Twitter in an attempt to apologise for his actions.
This week’s news brought us the Harvey Weinstein scandal – the movie executive accused of sexual harassment by a number of women including Ashley Judd, Angleina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.
After the scandal broke, Affleck released a statement claiming Weinstein’s actions made him “sick” and were “completely unacceptable.”

Soon afterwards however, folks on social media reminded Ben of his past inappropriate actions saying his comments were hypocritical. In 2003, Affleck groped One Tree Hill actress Hilarie Burton when she was age 21.

When a Twitter user called out Ben, reminding him of this, Burton was quick to mention that she hasn’t forgotten it either. She also said;
“I had to laugh back then so I wouldn’t cry.”
The actress then shared this video which shows a short clip where she can be heard saying;
“He wraps his arm around me, and comes over and tweaks my left boob.”

Another Twitter user shared a different video which claims to show evidence of the incident.
