A father and son were pronounced dead after their bodies were recovered off the coast of Donegal.
The pair are said to have died after they got into trouble while out on their boat fishing yesterday. Suspicions were raised when they did not return home last night.
A local farmer alerted the coast guard when he came across one of the bodies on a stretch of beach in the Glencolmcille area this afternoon.
The second body was found a short time later in the water by a helicopter and was retrieved by emergency services.
The identities of the two men have not been made public as of yet, however, it is believed that they were originally from Poland and living in Ireland.
The bodies have been brought to Letterkenny University Hospital where post-mortem examinations will take place.
