It’s a serious perk of the job here at Her.ie towers that we get to try and test some of the latest and greatest beauty releases and call it work. Lucky us. Here is a heads up on three products that got a communal thumbs up from the team in the week that was…

Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation, RRP €7.99, RIMMEL
It’s a total beauty myth that you have to spend big on your foundation to get a quality product. RIMMEL consistently offer more bang for your buck than many prestige brands and their new foundation offering is no different. The Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is a lightweight formula that offers even, smooth coverage that lasts. Everyone on the team has tried it out over the past fortnight and all bar one gave it a thumbs up. That’s a good ratio, and we’re a touch bunch to please.

RIRI for Mac, RRP Various, Brown Thomas and BT2
Love or loathe Rihanna, there is no denying that her beauty collection for MAC is absolutely divine. The S&M singer has out her stamp on a gorgeous collection that includes eyeshadow quads, lipsticks (named after her hits), liners, lashes, brushes and more. The rose gold packaging is to die for and we’re sure her fans will be clamouring for the MAC counters to get their hands on these. Prices range from €20.50 for the Lipglass to €45.50 for the Duo Fibre Face Brush.
Pro:Voke Touch of Silver Dry Shampoo, RRP €3.35, pharmacies nationwide
We're already familiar with the Touch of Silver Brightening Shampoo, (which we love), and this week we got our hands on the Dry Shampoo. While we’re firm fans of Batiste already, it may be shoving over on the shelf to make room for this beauty. Specially formulated for blonde, grey or white hair, this spray will instantly revitalise dull, oily hair between washes. Perfect for when you’re heading straight from work to an event, when you don’t have the chance to wash your hair, or when you’re just too downright lazy. We’ve all been there, don’t lie.
