A 52-year-old man is currently being held in police custody on suspicion of murder.
A body has been found in the search for Somaiya Begum, who has been missing for 12 days.
As the BBC reports, the 20-year-old woman was last seen on 26 June at her home in Bradford. The body that has been found was discovered near Fitzwilliam Street, which is close to her last known whereabouts
A 52-year-old man is currently being held in police custody on suspicion of murder. He had previously been arrested at an earlier stage of investigation, but was subsequently released on bail.
The body has not been formally identified, but it’s understood the Ms Begum’s family has been informed. Forensic examinations are continuing, and the area where the body was found has been cordoned off and secured.
