The body of a two-year-old boy has been found in an apartment in Limerick's Parnell Street.
According to reports, emergency services and Roxboro Gardaí were alerted at around 4:30pm this evening.
His body has been taken to Limerick University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.
There have been no arrests as of yet and the investigation is ongoing.
It is believed that the toddler was in the care of a relative, as reported by The Limerick Leader.
