Body Recovered From River Corrib in Galway
A body has been recovered from the River Corrib near Galway Cathedral this evening during a search operation.
Gardaí and firefighters removed the body from the water shortly after 4pm, where it was taken to University Hospital, Galway for a post mortem examination.
