The body of a crew member has been recovered from the wreckage of Irish Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 116.
RTE reports that the remains have been transferred to shore by a Naval Service dive team, where they will be formally identified.
While a body had been found in the wreckage on Friday, rescue teams were hampered by bad weather, meaning it could not be retrieved.
As it stands, crew members, Mark Duffy, Paul Ormsby and Ciarán Smith remain unaccounted for after the Irish Coast Guard
Sikorsky S92 helicopter plunged into the sea near Blackrock island in the early hours of March 14.
Pilot, Captain Dara Fitzpatrick, was laid to rest last Saturday.
The black box recorder from the aircraft has been recovered and is currently being analysed by experts in the UK, who hope to ascertain how the tragedy occurred.
